During our work, we can often generate quite amazing picures or images of the subsurface.

Just for fun, try and guess the nature of the underground structure that allowed us to create the following image and send us the answer. If you are successful, or even close, we will send you a prize.

Competition image

Here are a few clues:

  1. The site is in the United Kingdom.
  2. Plan view.
  3. These data were collected by the a digital metal detector on a regular sampling grid.
  4. The enlarged version of the image shows the distance scales (0 - 40 metres) and colour units (millivolts)
  5. It was part of a military stucture

If nobody sends us the correct answer we will add some more clues.
